You’re trying to connect with a specific person or company. Find out who on your team has the strongest existing relationship with them, and ask for an intro.

What you’ll do

  1. Search for the contact in Affinity
  2. Check the Connections tab to see who knows them
  3. Read your colleague’s interaction history
  4. Request an introduction

Step by step

1. Search for the contact

Press ⌘+K (Mac) or Alt+K (Windows) to open quick search and type the person’s name or company. For details on search: Conducting searches in Affinity

2. Check the Connections tab

On the contact’s profile, click the Connections tab. Affinity scores each colleague’s relationship strength with this contact based on email and meeting history. For how RI works: Leveraging your Connections and Relationship Strengths

3. Review your colleague’s interaction history

Click on the team member with the strongest connection to see their activity timeline with this contact — emails, meetings, and notes. This gives you context before you ask. For more: Activity Timeline on Profiles

4. Request the introduction and track it

Reach out to your colleague to ask for the intro. Once they make the introduction, log it in Affinity so the team can see who’s bringing in relationships. For tracking: How To Track Introductions In Affinity
