- Improved: Notes API V2 Performance — 82% faster performance for fetching notes with related entities (organizations, people, opportunities), reducing full dataset fetch time from ~100 minutes to ~15 minutes for power users with ~100k notes.
- New: Enriched Data Viewing in New Lists (Open Beta) — Choose between Minimal (default) or Classic appearance styles for enriched data, with yellow highlights for manual overrides and green text for enriched data, plus click-to-view enrichment source details (Affinity Data, Crunchbase, PitchBook, Dealroom).

- Improved: Affinity Enrichment Matching For People — Person records now matched to enriched data via all emails AND manually added LinkedIn URLs (not just primary email).
- New: New Lists — Copy and Paste — Copy and paste functionality now available in New Lists for moving data between cells within the same field type using keyboard shortcuts (Cmd+C/Ctrl+C to copy, Cmd+V/Ctrl+V to paste), supporting single or bulk cell selection.

- New: MCP (Model Context Protocol) Beta — Beta release allows customers to integrate Affinity directly with AI tools (Claude, Gemini, GitHub Copilot) to query data about companies, people, and notes for workflows like meeting prep, research, and pipeline management. Can be hosted on customer workstation or private cloud. (Note: ChatGPT not currently supported)
- Improved: People Location Data Quality — Overhauled location management system using AI to identify and fix incorrect locations.
- Improved: University & Educational Email Domain Handling — University, edu, and alumni domains now treated as generic email addresses in Company↔Activity association logic, preventing meetings/emails from being incorrectly attributed to parent institutions instead of the actual companies contacts represent.
- Improved: Snowflake Beta V.02 — Expanded Snowflake Data Share coverage by 5x to include 30+ data tables: Notes, Interactions, Relationship Scores, Transcripts, Lists, and their associations, with supporting documentation for tables and example queries.
- New: New Lists — Directories Support — New Lists experience now available in All Companies and All People directories with all current features (filtering, sorting, editing), accessible via toggle in upper right corner.

- New: iOS/iPad App — Upload and Manage Files — Upload files to Company, Person, and Opportunity profiles via camera or file picker, delete uploaded files, and edit sharing permissions directly from mobile. Take photos with camera and upload directly (great for capturing handwritten notes at conferences). (App version 5.45.0 required, max file size 100MB)
- New: MCP Beta — Incremental Release — Added write capabilities: add companies/people to lists, update fields on list entries, create and read reminders, fetch recent call transcripts, and get relationship scores for people.
- New: List Dropdown Options API — Fetch all available options for dropdown fields programmatically via API, including dropdown text, identifiers, rank (for ranked dropdowns), and color (for status dropdowns), simplifying integrations and automations that update dropdown fields.
- Improved: Affinity Labs — Sunset Two Experiments — Retired “Summarize Recent Activities” (metadata-only summaries didn’t provide discussion insights) and “Recent News on People Profiles” (low signal-to-noise ratio). Experiment Archive documents learnings in Labs help doc.
- New: New Lists — Field Creation & Management — Create and delete custom fields (Text, Number, Date, Location, Person, Organization) directly in New Lists via ”+” button, Customize Panel, or field headers without toggling back to Classic Lists. (Dropdowns, Ranked Dropdowns, and Formula fields coming in future release)

- New: Suggested Field Updates from Notes — Trigger AI analysis of note content to surface suggested CRM field updates (funding stage, revenue, team size, etc.) with before/after comparison and one-click application. Available from Notes tab on profiles, list Notes sidebar, and single note page. Supports text, multiline text, number, date, and location fields for company, person, and opportunity profiles.
- New: Notes Center — Browse, filter, and search all firm notes in one centralized location accessible from left sidebar. Filter by author, date range, associated entity, capture method (AI Notetaker vs manual), and keyword with AND/OR logic. View Notetaker summaries and transcripts, create new notes directly. Defaults to showing notes from last 6 months for performance; notes associated with blocklisted entities are automatically hidden.
- New: MCP (Model Context Protocol) — Fully hosted MCP with OAuth authentication (“Login with Affinity” flow) now supports Claude (Desktop, Web, Code), ChatGPT (Business/Plus plans minimum), Notion, Gemini CLI, Copilot, and most MCP-compatible tools. Includes all read/write operations (fetch notes, transcripts, list data, create reminders/notes, update fields). Admins can disable write tools; users can withhold write access during authentication. API keys available as fallback option.

- Improved: MCP - ChatGPT App Store Approval - Affinity MCP now available as official ChatGPT app, removing Developer Mode restrictions. All ChatGPT plans (Plus and up) can now connect to Affinity MCP, with advanced access controls available for ChatGPT Admins on higher-tier plans.
- New: Snowflake Data Share - Now available to all Advanced and Enterprise customers with self-service setup via Settings > Integrations > Snowflake. Access 20+ tables including Notes, Transcripts, Interactions, Relationship Strengths, Associations, and deleted records visibility. Data refreshed every two hours.
- New: Field Value Change History - Text and Dropdown Fields - Audit trail now tracks changes to dropdown and text fields with support in Activity Feed, Webhooks API, and Field Value Changes API, enabling automation based on field changes and complete visibility into CRM updates.
- Improved: Suggested Field Updates from Notes + Files - Now interprets relative dates in addition to explicit dates (e.g., “founded last year” or “received funding 3 years ago” calculated relative to note creation or file upload date), expanding structured data extraction from unstructured content.
