  1. Improved: Affinity Notetaker — Better Japanese and Korean call transcriptions with Deepgram Nova 3 model, improving transcription accuracy for calls conducted in these languages (Chinese Mandarin still uses Nova 2).
  2. Improved: Global Search on iOS (Mobile + iPad apps) — Added entity-type filters (Top Matches, Organizations, People, Opportunities, Lists, Notes) and support for searching note content by keyword, displaying up to 50 results per entity type.
  3. New: Manage Apps — Milestone 4 — Removed the 1 API key per user limitation, allowing users to create multiple application-specific keys with individual documentation for better security and easier maintenance.
  4. New: Affinity Notetaker — Six new supported languages — Danish, Indonesian, Norwegian, Polish, Russian, and Ukrainian transcription support added, bringing total supported languages to 17.
  5. New: Selective Email Sync — Users can choose which emails get synced to Affinity using a folder/label in their inbox, with Affinity only reading and storing emails from the designated folder, addressing privacy concerns and enabling onboarding of privacy-sensitive teams.
  6. New: New Lists (Sheets) — Open Beta — Complete rebuild of the List experience with faster performance, advanced filtering with AND/OR logic, streamlined editing workflows, and single-click cell editing, available as opt-in beta to all customers with ability to switch back to Classic anytime.
  7. New: Pitch Deck Analyzer — Affinity Labs Experiment — AI automatically generates document summaries and pulls recent news articles about companies/people mentioned in uploaded PDFs, with outputs saveable as team notes for consistent deal evaluation across the team.
  8. New: Recent News Updates on Companies + People — Affinity Labs Experiment — New News & Insights profile tab displays recent press releases, blog posts, and articles about companies or people, with on-demand regeneration and ability to save results as notes. Industry Insights and Employee Growth Insights modules relocated to this new tab.

November 2025

  1. Improved: Preserve Key Formatting on Paste into Affinity Notes from Microsoft Tools — List indentation, text formatting (bold, italics, underline), and hyperlinks are now preserved when pasting content from Desktop MS Outlook, Word, and OneNote (Mac or PC). Follow-up release added support for font and background color preservation.
  2. Improved: API V1 Bearer Auth — API V1 now supports Bearer Authentication (same as V2), eliminating the need to switch authentication methods when using both API versions or migrating to V2.
  3. New: Affinity Labs — Centralized settings page allows users to opt-in/opt-out of experimental AI features and provide feedback directly, enabling early access to cutting-edge capabilities months before general release.
  4. New: AI-Powered Activity & Note Summaries — Two new Affinity Labs experiments: Activity Timeline Summaries provide insights on interaction patterns, primary contacts, and communication preferences; Note Summaries create concise summaries of lengthy notes with key takeaways and recent developments.
  5. New: Manage Apps — Milestone 3 — Administrators can now revoke and edit all API keys within their organization (including keys created by other users or Affinity Professional Services). Users can document API keys with names and descriptions to indicate usage.
  6. Improved: Activity↔Company Association Logic — Emails and meetings are now linked only to the company whose email domain was used in that specific interaction (not all companies a person is associated with), with all historical data automatically re-processed for accurate company profiles, smart fields, and analytics reports.

  1. Improved: Note Color Style Options — Simplified text and highlight color options in Notes and Note Templates now available to all customers, ensuring readability across light/dark themes and easier drafting with backwards compatibility for legacy apps.
  2. New: List Template Update for Private Equity — Updated Intermediary Coverage template now defaults to People-based lists (bankers, consultants, lawyers) with PE-specific fields like Relationship Priority, better aligning with how PE investors manage their intermediary relationships.
  3. Improved: iOS/iPad App — View Affinity Notetaker transcripts directly in the mobile app alongside summaries, enabling partners to review complete founder conversations and make informed investment decisions while on-the-go.
  4. New: Interactions API — Date Filtering — Filter Email and Meeting APIs by createdAt, updatedAt, sentAt, and startTime date fields for incremental syncing. Also includes new bulk endpoints for manually logged Calls and Chat Messages.
  5. New: Live Chat Help Access Point — Help button relocated to Global Nav for more prominent visibility, increasing efficiency for customer teams needing support and improving AI chat deflection rates.
  6. New: iOS/iPad App — Login via Face ID/Touch ID — Biometric authentication provides instant, secure access to the app, removing manual login steps and enabling faster access to deal flow information while on-the-go.
  7. New: Images in Notes — Add up to 10 images (JPEG, JPG, PNG, max 5MB each) to any note from CRM, Extensions, and iOS Mobile app via copy/paste, drag-and-drop, file upload, photo library, or camera.
  8. New: Manage Apps — Milestone 2 — View all API keys in your organization including owner information and last API call timestamp, enabling administrators to audit active integrations and potential data access points.

  1. New: Affinity Sourcing — Web Traffic Growth Signals — Filter and sort companies by web traffic growth rates across three time periods (Month over Month, Quarter over Quarter, Year over Year) to identify companies with momentum, not just scale.
  2. New: Bulk Duplicate Merge — “Merge All” Action — Admins can now merge all identified duplicate records in a single click (previously limited to 100 records at a time), enabling resolution of thousands of duplicates at once for high-accuracy matching methods.
  3. Improved: Mobile and iPad Apps — View internal meetings in addition to external meetings, plus add Affinity Notetaker to video conferencing meetings with one-tap toggle directly from the app.
  4. New: Manage Apps Page — View API usage limits and monthly consumption directly in Settings, helping customers plan and optimize their API projects.
  5. New: Unmerge Duplicate Organization Records — Admins can now reverse organization merges and view merge status in a new Merged tab, providing confidence to bulk merge records knowing they can be undone if needed.
  6. Improved: Note Color Style Options — Simplified text and highlight color options in Notes and Note Templates for easier drafting and improved readability across light/dark themes.
  7. Improved: Affinity Sourcing — Watchlist now appears in the main CRM navigation bar with a visible alert count badge (up to 100 alerts), making it easier to discover and access without navigating through Sourcing.
  8. New: Affinity Sourcing — Add to Watchlist directly from CRM and Sourcing company profiles during diligence or review, capturing the monitoring decision at the moment it happens rather than requiring bulk actions from lists.

  1. New: Affinity Sourcing — Name & Domain Search — Instantly search for specific companies by typing their name or domain, with real-time results appearing as you type (minimum 3 characters required).
  2. New: Affinity Sourcing — Activity Timeline in Sourcing Profiles — View full CRM activity history (emails sent/received, meetings) directly in Sourcing profiles with filtering by activity type, eliminating the need to switch between Sourcing and CRM views.
  3. New: Affinity Sourcing — LinkedIn Headcount field now available in Sourcing screeners and profiles for improved headcount analysis and filtering.

  1. New: LinkedIn Headcount field available across Affinity CRM — View the raw count of LinkedIn profiles associated with companies, updated monthly and available in Lists, API, Exports, and everywhere you interact with companies.
  2. Improved: Company LinkedIn Links — Enhanced logic for more accurate LinkedIn URL assignments during company enrichment, reducing mismatched links and improving related data quality (year founded, LinkedIn headcount, descriptions).

  1. New: Global Search Preview with Last Contact Info and Badges — See your firm’s last contact date with organizations, people, and opportunities directly in search results, plus badges indicating relationship recency (never contacted, losing touch, recently contacted).
  2. Improved: Duplicate Manager now identifies organization duplicates using identical domains and redirecting domains in addition to name-based matching, significantly reducing false positives and manual cleanup effort.
  3. New: iOS Deep Linking — Affinity links in emails and notifications now open directly in the iOS app instead of the mobile browser, creating seamless transitions to profiles, lists, reminders, and notes.
  4. Improved: Global Search Results Relevance — Companies and people on lists now receive search ranking boosts regardless of when they were added (previously limited to 18 months), improving search conversion rates by over 8%.
  5. Improved: Access Pathfinder on WhatsApp Web — Use the Pathfinder Chrome extension to update your CRM while viewing WhatsApp messages, enabling seamless data capture from your sourcing and deal communications.
  6. Improved: Affinity Analytics Refresh Time reduced by an additional 50% — Data updates now appear in Analytics dashboards in 20–40 minutes (previously 40–80 minutes).
  7. New: Bulk Merge and Unmerge for Duplicate People Records — Admins can now merge multiple duplicate person records at once and reverse merges if needed, with a new Merged tab to track merge status.

  1. New: Affinity Sourcing — A fully integrated platform that helps VCs discover, prioritize, and act on high-potential investment opportunities with over 400,000 curated companies, customizable growth scoring, and automated watchlist alerts.
  2. Improved: Enterprise Admins can now choose ‘Most Restrictive’ privacy settings ensuring the highest privacy level takes priority when conflicts occur between a user’s personal privacy setting.
  3. New: Global Search Preview for Opportunities, Lists, and Notes — View key context at-a-glance including owners, status, profile tab counts, associations, and full scrollable note text without clicking into the page.

  1. Improved: Duplicate Manager has been refreshed to more intelligently identify people duplicates through email matching. As well, a new preview panel lets you validate duplicates and final decisions.
  2. Improved: Search in Affinity now features a Top Match tab and also includes Notes in these results, as well, expand results by ten at a time with a new See More button.

  1. New: iOS Push Notifications — Ability to set up and receive push notifications when:
    1. Someone @-mentions you on a note or replies to your note
    2. Someone assigns you a reminder or completes a reminder that you created
    3. An external meeting ends, prompting you to add a meeting note
  2. Improved: Affinity Notetaker — Notetaker summaries are now included in Affinity’s webhooks and integrations for Slack and Microsoft Teams.
  3. Improved: Affinity Notetaker — You can now connect your Zoom account with Affinity to allow your Affinity Notetaker (and your team members’ Affinity Notetakers) to record, transcribe, and summarize Zoom meetings that you’re the host of, even if you do not end up joining these meetings yourself.

    1. The Interaction Type dimension now includes logged chat messages.
    2. The Count of Chat Messages is a new measure that enables you to specify your interaction counts based on chat messages.

  3. New: Affinity for Salesforce — Ability to auto-create Account records in Salesforce based on user interactions
