Uploading and downloading files over MCP
If you’ve connected the Affinity MCP to an AI client such as Claude or ChatGPT, you can also upload and download files there — ask in natural language and the file lands on the record you name. The same rules apply: the manually uploaded file types listed above, and the same 100 MB limit. There is no dedicated bulk upload, but a client can work through several files one after another. See Getting Started with Affinity MCP.Important Callouts
- The maximum file size that can be uploaded to Affinity is 100 MB. This applies whether you upload in the app or over MCP.
