Use Status Triggers to make sure that you and your team members populate certain list-specific fields when list entries move into a certain status.
- Click List options
- Click Triggers
- Click Status Triggers
- Based on the default "Status" field, select the status option that will trigger the required fields.
- Finally, select which list-specific fields will become the required fields (see What are Global Fields vs List Fields?). You currently will not be able to make global fields the required fields for status triggers.
Note: Only the list owner and list admins will be able to implement status triggers for that particular list. To become a list admin, hover over the Share button to see who the list owner is and ask them accordingly.
Note: Status Triggers will activate only when status changes occur within the list itself or on the contact's profile page. Status changes done via data imports will not activate Status Triggers.
