# What's new in New Lists

> New Lists is your rebuilt Lists experience — faster, with advanced filtering, better saved views, CSV export, and more. Here's what's new and where to start.

New Lists is Affinity's rebuilt Lists experience, and it's becoming your **default**. If you've been working in Classic Lists, here's what's new — and where to pick up each capability.

## What's better in New Lists

* **Faster performance** — quicker loading and smoother scrolling, especially on large lists.
* **Advanced filtering** — combine conditions with **AND/OR logic**, use advanced operators, and group filters (Classic filtered one condition at a time).
* **Multi-level sorting** — sort by up to **5 fields** at once.
* **Smarter saved views** — views preserve your filters, sorts, and columns together, with **view variants** that stay compatible with Classic for teammates still on it.
* **Faster editing** — one-click cell editing, keyboard navigation, and copy/paste.
* **Field & option management** — create and manage fields, including dropdown, ranked dropdown, and status **options**, right from the column header.
* **Create entities inline** — add a company, person, or opportunity straight from a cell or a board card, without leaving the list.
* **Export to CSV.**
* **Board (Kanban) view** — drag cards between columns, reorder card fields, and group by status or another dropdown field.

## A few things aren't in New Lists yet

Some lower-usage Classic features are still on the way — bulk actions, inline filtering from a column header, inline dropdown/status option creation, and creating or editing triggers. Each has a workaround, and you can switch a list back to Classic anytime. See [what's not yet supported](/s/article/Lists-in-Affinity) and [Switching between New and Classic Lists](/s/article/Switching-between-New-and-Classic-Lists).

New Lists is rolling out in stages — you'll be notified as it becomes your default.
