## Overview

Identify and prioritize the right investors for your fund by filtering on investment stage focus, fund participation history, and investor preferences. This workflow (only in New Lists) uses precise dropdown filtering and exclusion logic to target investors with the right criteria and availability.

## Steps

\*\*Scenario 1: Target stage-specific \*\*\*\*co-investors \*\***only**

1. Open your investors list.
2. Click **Filters** → **+ Add condition**.
3. **Investment Stage** → **has any of** → **Pre-Seed AND Investment Stage** → **has none of** → **Series A**, **Series B** (exclude multi-stage investors)
4. **Sort by** → **Last Contact** → **Oldest first**
5. Click **Apply**.

### Scenario 2: Find new LPs for next fund

1. Create a filter for non-participants: **Investor Type** → **is any of** → **LP**, **Limited Partner AND Fund I Participation** → **is none of** → **Invested**, **Committed OR Fund I Participation** → **is empty** (new prospects)
2. **Sort by** → **AUM** (Assets Under Management) → **High to low**
3. Add secondary sort: **Last Contact** → **Oldest first**
4. Click **Apply**.

### Scenario 3: Prioritize warm investor introductions for your portfolio

1. Filter for accessible investors: **Investment Stage** → **has any of** → Match your portfolio company’s next round stage **AND Connections → Score** → **is greater than** → **50 AND Investment Status** → **is any of** → **Actively Investing**
2. **Sort by** → **Connections → Score** → **High to low**
3. Add secondary sort: **Check Size** → **High to low**
4. Click **Apply**.

***

## Expected Outcome

* **Scenario 1**: Pre-seed focused co-investors (excluding multi-stage funds), prioritized by staleness for outreach
* **Scenario 2**: LPs who didn't participate in Fund I plus new prospects, ranked by AUM size and relationship recency
* **Scenario 3**: Actively investing, stage-appropriate investors with warm connections, prioritized by relationship strength and check size

***

## Tips/Warnings

* Use **has none of** to exclude investors with unwanted characteristics
  (multi-stage focus, previous participation).

* **OR** with **is empty** captures both explicit "No" responses AND unknown
  prospects.

* Create **Investment Stage** as multi-value dropdown since many investors
  cover multiple stages.

* **Fund Participation** fields should be updated after each fundraising cycle
  for accuracy.

* **Connections → Score** above 50 typically indicates meaningful relationship
  potential.

* Consider **Check Size** ranges that match your funding needs to avoid
  over/under-qualified investors.
