# Affinity AI Prompt Library

> Where to start with Affinity's AI — copy-paste prompts for AI Chat (inside Affinity) and Affinity MCP (in Claude, ChatGPT & other tools), plus guided workflows.

Affinity's AI works in **two places**, and the prompts differ because the capabilities differ. Start here to pick your surface, then jump into the right prompt library.

## Which should I use?

Both answer questions and update your CRM (with your confirmation, using your permissions). The difference:

## Writing an effective prompt

For anything beyond a simple lookup, think **Context → Task → Constraints** — what data to use, what to do, and how to present it. Instead of *"Find companies"* → *"Search my Active Pipeline for B2B SaaS companies we haven't contacted in 60 days, and show the last contact date for each."* Include entity names, list names, and timeframes; refine with follow-ups in the same thread.

* **Reading your Meeting Prep brief in Chat** and **reviewing Suggested Field Updates in Chat** — fast-follows; at launch you review agent output in **Ascend**.
* **Attribute-based people search** and **location filtering** — name/email search at launch.
* **Document Synthesis** — coming soon; no prompts yet.
