What is an Alliance Group?
Within Affinity Alliances, you can make allies with one individual at a time, or you can become allies with multiple individuals all at once by joining an Alliance Group.
By joining an Alliance Group, you’ll opt into sharing your network and relationship strengths with everyone in that group (Example: Many investment firms use Alliance Groups to share their networks with their portfolio founders and executives).
How do I create an Alliance Group?
- Click your Profile icon on the top-right corner.
- Click View profile.
- Scroll down, then click Create a new group.
Alternatively, you can do the following:
- Click the blue arrow.
- Click Create a new group.
How can I invite members to an Alliance Group?
Anyone already within the group can invite members, but only the admin of the group can approve who ultimately gets added. To send invites:
- Click the blue arrow.
- Click the View button within the Alliance Group.
- Click Invite members.
How do I leave an Alliance Group?
- Click the blue arrow.
- Click the View button within the Alliance Group.
- Click Member next to your name, then click Leave group.
